
I tried the beta and it doesn't appear to help on Macs. Is there a beta that might wotk and can you post the link. It crashes when I try to open the files I have selected in both LR3 and CS5. Should I try what Support told Fran to do?ĭon't give up hope! As you can see, Fran was able to get up and running again and you don't want to miss out on using HDR Efex Pro. I just gave up on HDR Efex and put it on the scrap heap, which is a shame seeing it cost a bunch of money. I am having this problem, too.on a similar computer set up as Fran. This worked, and my HDR Efex Pro is no longer crashing PS CS5.

Support asked me to download the latest beta version, uninstall the version on my computer and install the beta. Thank you Laurie and Nik Support for all your help. If you do not hear anything in a couple of days, please let me know so that I can followup with you. We have been very busy since the release of HDR Efex Pro so it may take a couple days to get back to you.

It usually takes a day or so, I just wanted to be sure you knew what what happening. I sent the log to support this AM, but have not heart back yet. Now they want me to call, but since I am hearing impaired that is not a good option. Any other suggestions? Nik support asked me to delete the program and start over and I did, to no avail. I read here about corrupted preferences files and successfully deleted mine, but it did not help the problem.

This occurs on 32 bit single images, and multiple jpgs, raw or tiff images.

THe message I get is: Photoshop CS5 has stopped working. In PS or Bridge, multi or single photos, after I select my image(s) and click okay, HDR Pro Efex crashes the program. Hi, I've read the other problems here, but none seems exactly like mine.
